Who we are
ALDA Nest is an app made by ALDA TECH. It links nurseries and kindergartens with the parents of the children they look after. The nursery or kindergarten decides what is recorded; ALDA TECH stores it and keeps it safe for them.

The nursery or kindergarten enters children's and parents' names, phone numbers and classes. Teachers and parents add the child's daily log, photos, health and medicine records, incidents, attendance, messages, trip answers and payments.
Who can see it
A parent sees only their own children. A teacher sees only the children in their classes. The office sees what its role allows. ALDA staff open a nursery or kindergarten's data only for support, and each time is logged. Photos are private and shown only when the child's parents have agreed.
Who else handles it
Data is stored with our hosting providers. Notifications pass through Expo, Apple and Google, and can include a child's first name. We do not sell data or show adverts.
How long we keep it
We keep a nursery or kindergarten's records while it uses ALDA Nest. When a nursery or kindergarten closes its account, everything is deleted within 30 days, except ALDA's own invoices and the security log, which accounting and safety rules require us to keep. Photos from the daily log and from chats are deleted after 6 months; children's and pickup people's profile pictures stay.
Children
The app is used by parents and nursery or kindergarten staff, not by children. Children don't have logins. Information about a child is entered by their nursery or kindergarten and their parents.
Deleting your account
In the app, go to Settings and tap Delete my account, or use the page below if you can't open the app. Your login, name, phone number, private chats, their pictures and your notifications are deleted straight away. The child's records stay with the nursery or kindergarten, which is responsible for them, and so does the security log of what was done. If you own the nursery or kindergarten, deleting your account closes it: you have 14 days to change your mind, then everything is deleted within 30 days except ALDA's own invoices and payments and the security log.
